Long-distance moving

Moves beyond the local area, quoted after we've seen what's going and planned around both ends of the trip.

Planning a longer move

A long-distance move has more moving parts than a local one: timing at both ends, parking or access rules at the destination, and how long your things will be on the truck. We go over all of it before we quote, so the plan fits the actual trip.

What to have ready for your quote

  • Your pickup and destination cities
  • Photos of each room, plus anything large, fragile or valuable
  • Stairs, elevators or long walks at either home
  • Your ideal timing, and how flexible it is

Packing for distance

Boxes on a long move ride longer and stack higher than on a local one, so how they're packed matters. We can pack your whole home, just the fragile rooms, or leave packing to you and handle the furniture. See packing and unpacking for details.

Common questions

How is a long-distance move quoted?

We go over what's moving by photos, a video call or a walkthrough, plus the distance and access at both homes, then send your quote. Requesting an estimate doesn't hold a date.

Can you pack before a long-distance move?

Yes. Packing is especially worth it for longer moves, since boxes ride longer and get stacked higher. We also unpack at the destination.

How far will you go?

Call or text us with your destination and we'll tell you whether it's a move we can take on.

We're your moving solution.

Tell us where you're going and what's coming with you. We'll take it from there.
